Lungadige Galtarossa 21/A
37133 Verona VR, Italy
On the banks of the Adige
The Bottega sits in a quiet industrial courtyard on Verona's south bank, a few minutes' walk from the university quarter. It's a working workshop — steel tubes, welding stations, paint booth, Zappa on the stereo — not a showroom. But the door is open to anyone willing to make the trip.
If you're passing through Verona, or making a special journey, we'd love to see you. Just let us know you're coming so we can make sure someone's free to show you around rather than elbow-deep in brazing flux.
Getting here
By air
Verona Villafranca (VRN) is small, efficient, and about 12 km from the Bottega. From arrivals, a taxi takes around 15 minutes and costs approximately €35. Ask the driver for Lungadige Galtarossa — it's well known locally. The Airlink 199 bus runs every 20 minutes to Verona Porta Nuova station (€7, 15 minutes). From there it's a 16-minute walk south along the river, or a short taxi.
By train
Verona Porta Nuova is the main station, well connected to Milan, Venice, Bologna, and the rest of Italy's high-speed network. From the station, walk south along the Adige — it's about 16 minutes on foot, flat and pleasant. Or grab a taxi from the rank outside.
By car
From the A4 motorway, take the Verona Sud exit. Follow signs towards the centre. Lungadige Galtarossa runs along the south bank of the Adige — there's street parking on the lungadige and in the courtyard. If you're renting, Verona's ZTL (limited traffic zone) covers the old centre but the Bottega is just outside it.
By bicycle
The most appropriate way to arrive, of course. The Lungadige itself is a quiet riverside road, and Verona has a continuous cycle path along the Adige connecting the centre to the southern reaches of the city. From the centre, follow the river south — flat, scenic, around 10 minutes from Piazza Bra. There's a courtyard at the Bottega where you can leave your bike safely while you visit. If you've come from further afield, the Eurovelo 7 passes through Verona.
On foot from the centre
From Piazza Bra and the Arena, it's about a 20-minute walk south along the river. Cross Ponte Aleardi or Ponte Navi, turn left along Lungadige Galtarossa. The courtyard entrance is on the river side. Look for the old industrial doors — you'll know them when you see them.

The door is open
We welcome visitors — owners, future owners, and the simply curious. But we're a working workshop, not a showroom, so we ask that you get in touch before you come. That way we can make sure someone's free to walk you through the space, show you what we're working on, and maybe open a bottle of something.
