A ‘Beyond the Frame’ Ciavete Responsorium Disc

For those who didn’t go, our ‘Beyond the Frame’ exhibition at Studio la Città in December 2021 featured not only artwork from Dario Pegoretti and some of the many artists that have passed through the doors of the Officina over the years, but a unique (and hence, Ciavete) Responsorium painted by the youngest members of the Pegoretti Bottega. To honour our enigmatic founder, and the spirit of the studio, Andrea and Leonardo painted their Ciavete in a spirit of improvisation, weaving lines and developing motifs in a manner that Dario famously made his own.

And just in case there was any doubt where their paintbrushes were pointing, this decidedly future-forward Pegoretti features the Responsorium disc frame and disc-specific Falz 3 fork. To complement the build, we chose Campagnolo’s Chorus groupset, Zipp cockpit and finishing components, and Fulcrum’s Zero Carbon wheels.
