Aidan’s New Zealand Luigino
Aidan is a bicycle retailer in Christchurch, New Zealand, and Pegoretti partner. Last summer he visited the Bottega to order a classic Luigino with a panel Ciavete paint scheme. After receiving his bike and taking it for more than a few rides, Aidan found some time to send us his feedback. “Having never ridden a lugged steel frame before, I was not sure what to expect,” he explains. “I knew it would be stable and smooth, and it did not disappoint. The thing that surprised me the most was how stiff the frame felt under the pedals, where pushing hard or climbing the bike was every bit as stiff as any frame I have ridden, and makes a very traditional-style frame ride like a performance bike.”
